Hi all,

Configuration : Metaframe XP, Windows 2000 SP3

Here it is the error message after clients connect to Nfuse Portal

"There was an error:There was an error attempting to make a connection with the Citrix Server. The address to which the connection was attempted is Citrix1. The port number to which the connection was attempted is 80. Please ensure that the Citrix XML Service is installed on the machine with that address, and that it is listening on that port. If that machine is configured to share ports with iis, please ensure that the iis is installed and running."

Any idea ?

Thanks for you help

How are the users connecting to the NFuse server - over a LAN or WAN link?

If it's over a LAN, can you open the default web page in a browser? If so, Did you configure the Citrix XML service to share port 80?

If it's over a WAN, and you are using NAT through a firewall, do you have an alternate address set for the Citrix Server?

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

More information

There are two servers :

The first one which is Citrix with applications and XML Service

The second which is Nfuse + IIS (but there is no XML Service on)

After the error message :
The only way to connect to application is to restart XML service on Citrix server using CTXXMLSS / port number

Any idea ?

Thanks
