Nfuse 1.7 /2.1 and auto deploy of Java client

I am setting up CSG / Nfuse server soon.

On the test servers I have got it all working except I cannot work out how to have NFuse use the Java client without embedding the application.

Is this the only way ?

Ideally I want to have users be able to access the apps using a pre-installed ICA client or if there is no client installed use the Java client downloaded from NFuse.
