I am running an NFS server in a production enviroment on a x4450 and am in the process of making the following changes to /etc/default/nfs.
# increased LOCKD_SERVERS to 128 from default 20
# increased NFS_SERVER to 256 from default 16
# increased LOCKD_LISTEN_BACKLOG to 128 from default 32
My question is....To make these changes become active do I need to unmount the shares from the client machines and perform a svcadm restart network/nfs/server? or can you just restart the nfs without effecting the clients? Been trying to google but must be using wrong keywords to find this information
Best regards
