I have 2 redhat 6.1 machines and was running nfs on one to use as a file server. I rebooted my client machine and now can't reconnect to the NFS share. Portmapper, mountd, and nfsd are all running. NFS however is only running udp and not tcp. When I try to connect to my nfs share I get a RPC: Program not registered error which according to the HOWTO is either a problem with mountd not running or hosts.allow/deny. To see if it was the hosts.allow/deny I added portmap: ALL to the first line of my allow file. My only idea is that it is a problem with nfs not running tcp but I don't know how to fix that.
Thanks for your help
NFS is always only UDP, Please check that the host exporting the NFS has correct
hosts.allow

Or have you changed the export or fstab ??
