NFS mount query

Hello,

I’m having fun & games with NFS mounting between two linux boxes 

Basically I have it mounted but it’s not carrying the arbor:arboradm ownership across with the NFS mount, how can I get it to do this?

The arbor & arboradm uid & gid are both the same on each server and I did an NFS mount on Linux the other day and that was fine so I’m not sure what I have got wrong here!

Below is the /etc/exports file from the NFS server:-

cat /etc/exports
/home/arbor/sgaspar lonlin3(rw,sync,no_root_squash)

Hi Nick,

double check your /etc/passwd file on both servers and make sure that UID are the same.
