Hi,

I'm trying to mount a nfs drive on my FreeBSD server from my Linux Fedora 2 server. I keep getting a permission denied error. I can mount the drive on my Fedora from FreeBSD just not on the Freebsd from Linux.

Here is the command I'm using.

mount -f fedora.domain.com:/usr/dumps /usr/dumps/fedora

I'd appreciate any help.

thanks

Have you properly exported the share? Use "showmount" to see if it is exported.

thanks for responding.

I did a showmount on my FreeBSD server. It list a couple other hosts but not the Fedora server. If I do a showmount on the Fedora server it list nothing. Not sure how to set this up to show the hosts.

Did you use 'showmount -e hostname' that will show you a list of exported nfs shares.
