Hey guys,

Our Alpha 4100 is getting this error on bootup

NFS Portmap: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: timed out

In the /etc/fstab file there is an entry to mount a NFS share from across the network. This device across the network no longer exists. Is there a way for me to stop the server from looking to mount this share while in the Console Environment?

Thanks in advance

Thanks anyway guys

A good 'ole Ctrl C breaks the attempt to map the NFS share and completes the boot up sequence.
