Hi everyone
I'm connecting a second T1 attach to the D channel of the 1st T1, is this an NFAS group? what is the right configuration in for the second T1 to do this????

Thanx

You need to change the signalling group type to NFAS. The DS1 form of the 1st ds1 will remain "isdn-pri", while the 2nd DS1 will be "isdn-ext". Both need to be defined in the signalling group.

I did that already, the lines are out-of-service-NE, if I dont have back up D channel, what interfase number should have 1st and 2nd??

Group Number: 5
Associated Signaling? n Max number of NCA TSC: 24
Primary D-Channel: 01B1524 Max number of CA TSC: 24
Secondary D-Channel: Trunk Group for NCA TSC: 1
Trunk Group for Channel Selection: 1
Supplementary Service Protocol: a

Trunk Brd Interface ID Trunk Brd Interface ID
1: 01B15 0 11:
2: 04A18 2 12:
3: 13:
4:

is this OK ???

Some vendors reserve interface ID 0 and 1 for the primary and secondary d-channels. The vendor providing your ISDN can tell you what they have the interface ID's set to. However I would try and set the second T-1 (04a18)with B channels to interface ID 1.

Also make sure on the DS-1 form has the second DS-1 set as idsn-ext. You stated it was but it is worth checking again.

If the interface ID do not match the b channles will not come up. Hope this helps

Thanks
Chris
