Next media problem

Hi I am getting a wierd error where Arcserve is asking for another tape even though the backup is not filling the tape thats in. Does anyone know what this is all about?

Job is set to overwite any media, it formats the tape, then backs up 47GB, then asks for next media??? Once you cancel the job it tells me in the log that there is still33GB free on the tape, so WHY oh why is it asking for another tape???

I'd say the tape is really full.

A new tape is requested when the drive tells the Tape Engine it has reached the early warning strip on the tape. Also space remaining is a function of the tape.

It would help if details where provided.
