Next! How do I get information into a report??

From the forms forum I learnt a neat way of validating Data Entry. The user selects a name and that person's corresponding unique Ref No is returned to the underlying table. In my reports I now need access to display the name based on this number in the table. I can do it with a query however the report is based on a table. How do I get access to display the name corresponding to the unique Ref No?

Base the report on a query which contains the "lookup" field. You can then place that field in your report.
