I have a field that displays Dates of Service.
In a given list of dates I need to be able to display the 2nd and 3rd dates independent from the list.
I used Next{date_of_service} to display the 2nd date, but I can't figure out how to display the 3rd date.
Can anyone help?

Where are you displaying the dates, in the details? Are you using groups?

This sort of post will only lead to more questions and posts because you omit ALL technical information.

In your example, your report has 3 or more fields for the entire report, and you only want to display the 2nd and the 3rd row.

Place the field in the details, right click the details and select format section->X 2 next to suppress and place

recordnumber in [2,3]

I'd guess that you're just being lazy in your post and that you want the 2nd and 3rd date for some given group.

In that case keep track of each detail for the group using the 2 formula method:

Group header formula
whileprintingrecords;
numbervar Cnt:=0;

Details formula
whileprintingrecords;
numbervar Cnt:=Cnt+1;
If Cnt in [2,3] then
{table.date}
