I have been looking for a decent news feed site with an XLM RSS service. I would like to set up a preferences area on my intranet so that users can select which categories of news they would like to view.

I have head of , but it look like they charge a heck of a lot now. No more free service.

Let me know if I am wrong.

Does anyone know of any good service similar to moreover that can deliver news in a comparable fashion?

Short of writing your own service there isn't a lot you can do to be honest. Moreover is the best thing out there and as far as I am aware there isn't a free service giving the same options.
You may, for example, create a system that uses as it's source an xml file located on your domain to which only your clients have access to. This then could be updated by your internal staff.
The other thing. BBC ticker uses as it's source an XML file - the software is free to use but I don't know how legal it would be to use the source file as part of an asp.net/asp/javascript page. You may get similar ideas from subscribing to news feeds but again I do not know how you would stand from a legal standpoint.
I think it will probabily end up costing you either way - if not please tell me as I am currently considering the same sort of service for a project.

All the best of luck
