newlyinstalled eudora 7.1 sends but can't receive

My old installation of Eudora 7.1 got corrupted so i installed a new copy on my D: disk. The new copy opens all right and sends e-mails out (which I can get on Outlook Express when address to myself). When I send out an Email addressed to me using the new copy of Eudora nothing comes into the In Screen. Also no outside generated E-mails are visible. The Inbox file in Eudora is zero.

The Eudora Tools>Options selections seem to be the same as for the old copy.

Does anyone have any suggestion as to why messages go out but none come in?
