Newly Installes System Keeps Freezing and Crashing

Newley installed system 9.2.2 keeps freezing and crashing - what should I check.

Looking for quality advice as to how to get a reliable set-up.

Are you running any other apps when it freezes and crashes?

Have you rebuilt the desktop?
If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

Yes I have Photoshop 5.5, Illustrator 9.0, Quark 4, Acrobat 5.0 installed but it seems to freeze up randomly, even just after start-up?

Could you run Norton Disk Doctor? If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

Try following
1. Restart system, press & hold left SHIFT key while starting up. If computer boots up normally, propably there are conflicts in extensions. Open Extensions Manager Control panel and select "minimal" option in dropdown mnu.
