I'm running sun volume manager on solaris 9. I have two hotspares and
are currently on standby. Both are not being utilized.
Can I newfs both of them? Do I need to deleted the hostpares first,
then newfs?

I forgot to mention that both hotspares are associated with a few submirrors. Do I need to unassociate the hotspares before I newfs it? Can I just delete the hotspare and newfs, then recreate the hotspare? Can anyone help me with a procedure. I'd certainly appreciate the help :)
