Just starting out and never built asite before...sales guy at pitched me dreamweaver mx,..is it ok for beginner? do I need the flash program...almost boughta lower cost program Webeditor5 made by NAMO.....

DreamWeaver MX is more than enough to keep you busy for the next year or so in your road to building websites.

Later, much much later come .ASP but worry about DreamWeaver for now...

however if you prefer a real pain of a software to use - one that is not user friendly, has many bugs and overall gives you more work to do in the end - than go with Front Page.

Otherwise, to develop web pages that can be used on Unix OR Windows servers, toss in dynamic data (PHP or ASP) - oh yeah dont forget the .net thing...... ahh the list continues with DW. &quot;Never underestimate the power of determination&quot;
