I am new to the whole server scene. Especially when using SCSI drive and RAID controllers. I just picked up a Proliant 6000 server to play with the other day. It did not have any drives in it. I now have a 9.1 GB SCSI wide Ultra hard drive in it. When I boot the machine, it does not detect any drives. Is there some way that I have to do some sort of initial config for the new drive so that it can be recognized?

Sorry if this is a really stupid question........ If anyone has or knows of some good learning material for SCSI/RAID setups I'd be really grateful for that as well!!!!!
