Hello everyone,
I am new to Progress and I am not a programmer, but a controller for a small firm. We are in the process of migrating our child company's Construction accounting system to JD Edwards World platform. The problem is their accounting system is built on a Progress platform, 9.1 I believe, and resides on a Unix box running SCO OpenServer 5.0. The only way currently to get data off of the machine is by "PRINTING" reports. They cannot export any reports to a text file.

I need help in trying to either run reports and export in a text format or how to connect to the database using ODBC to migrate the data. We recently paid their support company to export the entire database to text files and put on a tape drive. The server is a stand alone box, but does have a modem connected to it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
