Hi all,
Our business is starting to use the enterprise hosted version of ICM and it seems to be going pretty straight forward. One of the issues we are having though is that when I want to set up an IVR script to play an announcment and then release the call it doesnt. I have setup the VRU nodes and then after the VRU script I place a release call node. When I dial the number though it plays the announcement and then gives back busy tone. has nyone else experienced this? John

Hi ,
Which VRU are you using it might be your script for the VRU that has a problem.
- we're working with an Network ivr together with our carrier. We have different scripts for each situation , ie nubmers entered, play answer, and even play disconnect. On the AW there is an application called router log. it should tell you why the busy is coming back.

The VRU is hosted by our Telco so Im not sure which type it is. They have came back saying that there is no way round this as the ICM platform is releasing the call as it should but its just a querk that it gives busy tone. Do you get the same issue when you play a closed VRU message? John

Just to ascertain what's happening where, create a test script that only has a disconnect node and run some test calls through that script.

If you get the busy tone then the problem lies there (with the disconnect).
If you do get a clean release without the IVR scripting however, we can try troubleshooting why the IVR isn't disconnecting cleanly.

Cheers,
Kevin
