Hi there,

I'm just after a bit of general advice on getting to grips with woking on a MAC (G4 - OS X). I'm more used to PCs.

Are there any websites or books out there which would be a good introduction for me? I'm slowly finding my way around the OS but nothing beats a bit of guidance!

Thanks in anticipation :0)

Hi Susie,

I was in the position of learning OSX too, having migrated from XP. I perseverd on my own because apple's quick intro is not very helpful and i could not find anything.

This may help:
this website actually is a competition to see which is best but it compares the two so you can easily see some differences.

There is a Mac OSX for dummies book which like the others in the series would provide a very simple introduction to the subject. Look on Amazon, there are lots available.

Is there anything you are having specific difficulty with?

Persevere, i did not like mine as much as windows at first, now i love it.
