Good Morning,

My name is Mark Heidenrijk and I work for the Department of Education in Victoria. I don't know much about phone systems but I am learning very slowly.

We have a Univerge NEC SV8100 phone system and the problem I am wondering if you can help me with is.

When a phone call comes into the school. If the main receptionists don't answer it Extension 110 and Extension 111 rings two other phones on in the system. Extension 113 and Extension 115. I am trying to add another extension to the secondary group but am not sure how to do it.

I have access to the Tech Interface of the Phone System but I don't want to go around and start changing anything. I am not confident enough to fix it if I screw up.

If anyone could offer some advice on how to do it that would be awesome.

Thanks so much

Regards

It's probably best to call someone in to do it, however, ring groups are assigned in MB 22-04. 22-08 is where the overflow is usually set. And most times it's set to 102 = Auto Attn. It could be set to a secondary ring group. that group number corresponds to the 22-04 number.
