Hey ppl,

I know ziltch on ISA. I'm v.familiar with Win2k and AD, and I need to create a proxy to stop users from looking at non-business related sites. I use a router at the moment, and need the ISA server just for banning sites at certian times and redirecting them to a notification page.

Many thanks, Steve Hewitt

I assume you already have ISA setup and working, and you have Protocol Rules, Site & Content Rules, IP Packet Filters already in place.
To ban certain web sites, i would start of by creating a Destination Set in Policy Elements. In this destination set include all the websites you would like to ban. Next i would create another Site & Content Rule. Create a new Site & Content Rule which Applys to all users, At all times, All HTTP Content, for Destinations select the Destination Set you have created with the banned sites in it, and on Action set it to Deny Access and you have an option there on selecting a page to redirect users to.
To add a new banned website further down the track you just need to add it to the Destination Set.
Hope This Helps
