Q1.

When I move down the areas and subareas I can see (Quick launch bars) the Home page and the current arae and its chilern subareas. When I move down to one of these all I can see is the parent..not any of the other subareas at teh same level...is there a way of allowing the navigation bar to show the parent and other children at the same level?

e.g.

HOME > COMPANY > DIVISION 1

HOME > COMPANY > DIVISION 2

HOME > COMPANY > DIVISION 3

On COMPANY I can see HOME, COMPANY and DIVISION 1, DIVISION 2 , DIVISION 3

On DIVISION 1 all I see is HOME and COMPANY (can't see the other 2 divisions)

Q2. I am looking at my Portal home Page...

1. I want to display the Top 1 or Latest message from a Subarea or sub-sub area on my home page:

e.g.
Latest Social Event (from a List on SubArea 'Socials' which in turn is under a SubArea 'PEOPLE')

or

the Latest Newsletter (Stored in a document library called 'Newsletters' under SubArea 'NEWSLETTERS' which is in turn under SubArea 'PUBLISHED'

What is the best way to do this ..is it via the Links Web Part with some sort of filter on to only pick the Top 1?
I can add a new Column "Top 1" (Yes/No) to be able to filter on but I don't know how to apply this on the Home page

Tips?
