Newbie setup Question

I need to set up crystal reports 8.5 to be used by Cold Fusion 4.5 and enable reports to be ran by end users of our
website. We are also using SQL 7 for a data source.
Does the installation of crystal need to be on the Web server? or the DB server? or on a server by itself?

Any help and suggestions are welcomed.
