Hi all,

I have recently moved to a new company who makes use of an application that is backed by an informix database. I am used to working with sql and am familiar with query analyzer/enterprise manager. I am looking for something similar (preferably free) to allow me to query and administer the informix database, by this i mean run queries and extract information from. Currently the organisation does this using access and a number of batch scripts.

As I am new to informix as a whole, as well as information on a suitable app to do this I would appreciate any information / links to basic informix guides.

Many thanks

Ian

Take a look at dbaccess, located in $INFORMIXDIR/bin

Hope This Help
