newbie qus MS exchang server install ?

Hi, I am trying to install ms exchange server 2007 on win standalone 2008 r2 sever, but I went to pre - requisites which need :
-to install microsoft exchange server 2007
you have to install first

1- Microsoft .NET Framework2.0

2-Microsoft Management Console 3.0

all these must be installed

before you can run setup microsoft exchange server 2007

But none of them intalled on my machine???
error msg : this update not applicable to your pc,
not enough disk space,
you must use role mngt to install configure .net framework 2.0
etc...

Help appreciated??

That seems to point to the issue.

Also, is your server running Windows Server 2008, 64bit version? 64bit is required for Exchange 2007.

Exchange 2007 doesn't work with Server 2008 R2 unless it is Exchange 2007 SP3:

kmcferrin is correct, and I didn't mention it. Are you installing from the SP3 download?
