I seldom work with Dynamics SQL but get to try to fix our Acct dept woes.
One of our users said that when she used to lookup vendors she got a drop down box to select from open up automatically and now she needs to click on a selecetion (magnifying glass) to open the drop down.

What setting do I need to change

Thanks

I don't know which version of Dynamics you're using but I've always needed to use the magnifying glass to to get to the selections (I'm using ver 8.0)

I don't think this is a setting that you can change. If there really was a change due to an upgrade then that is the way she will have to access the selections from now on.

I've seen vb addons that do the dropdown; but, as Ptina said, you always have had to use the magnifying glass (or hit CTRL-L will also do the same thing) to do a lookup

I talked to the users some more after reading these posts and she said that she is in AP and used to enter a Vendor's name where it says Vendor ID. she used to be able to enter Kim for Vendor Kim's Store ID 435 and after pressing enter a drop down pooped up with all vendors starting with Kim. Right now it says "The vendor ID does not exist"
We are on v7.5

Thanks

sounds like you were using a free product from Rockton software called "lookup plus"

rocktonsoftware dot com

either that or you had customization done and now its not there.
