Hello
I am just getting familiar wit PS2
I wrote a simple script to copy a sql .bak file from my app server to my file server
I wrote it in notepad and copied/pasted into the ps command window
the script worked but I received no confirmation on the command screen that it actually finished
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

thanks very much

Unless your script was configured to display something on the screen, you won't get anything unless there is an error.

Hello
Thx for replying.
I am having problems scheduling the task.
if i go to a cmd prompt and run the .bat file - it works
however if i go to the scheduled task(same .bat file) and 'run'nothing happens but the history shows task completed w/no errors. I have it set up for admin user(no need to be logged in)etc.

Can you tell me if I'm missing some setting in task scheduler?

thx
