Hello everyone,

I am new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a new Partner System, with 5 lines from ATT and 5 lines from local cable company. I am going to have the cable company lines used for outgoing calls and the ATT lines for incoming. I would like to have the main ATT line displayed (123)456-7890, whenever I make an outgoing call, (on the cable company lines) rather then displaying each line individually. Originally I was told this could be done with the Partner system no problem, now I am being told it has to be done with ATT, who are saying it has to be done with cable who say it can't be done.
Does anyone know if this is possible using the Partner system?

Thanks in advance.

It is not possible with any system using POTS lines. The provider (cable co in this case) would be the only ones who could potentially manipulate the outbound caller ID on a POTS line. Since they are saying no, the answer is no.

ISDN service will allow you to control what phone number appears on Caller ID displays. The Partner ACS does not support ISDN.

For that, you would need to upgrade to a Merlin Legend, Merlin Magix or an IP Office system.
