Hi Guys

Happy Christmas

When completeing a SMS client pc install is it possible to make it login as an administrator and reboot the box at the end of the install?

Thanks Guys

for those updates that require a restart to take effect we force the reboot of the workstations.....

your systemm account and\or authorized account will perform this via your script.

The SMS client install does not require a restart. If you run client.msi to install the client (which is what we do), you can use the windows install command line argument to force an install. I believe it's Reboot="Force". Just look up msi command lines arguments to be sure. This will not login as an admin though.

if your SMS credentials used is in a security group on all your workstations with admin rights(that is what we do) then SMS can reboot and install as an Admin. Mib I think is correct at the end of the command string insert Reboot="force"
