Newbie question, I know. I'm moving my system from one site to another, I was going to reuse the existing cabling for the digital phones. When I go from the DS ports on the IPO to the existing 110 blocks, am I best to try and do it with solid wire or can I just hack some RJ11 cables in half and punch the stranded wire into the 110 blocks? I was looking online for solid wire patch cables to save some time and did not find anything.

Punching stranded cables isn't recommended. You will have problems.

Stranded is not Recommended.
We bought some solid though Anixter Years ago, still have some.
889503 - 7 ft RJ11 Solid 24 gage patch cord
I looked and that was not a Part Number anymore.

Check out the bottom of:
You could also throw in a 2nd Patch and use regular RJ11 patches to it and then hardwire the Back of it to your other 110.
