I am an almost complete newbie to Visual Basic and I'm having a problem with the Microsoft Jet 4.0. I am trying to create a program to manage a database of newspaper subscribers stored in a microsoft access .mdb file. I am programming mainly on a Windows 2000 professional computer with Access 2000 installed. I am using Microsoft Jet 4.0 to connect the ADODC to the database on this computer. Everything is pretty much going according to plan, however, when I emailed the .exe and the .mdb to a windows 98 computer with Access 97, the datagrid which should dispaly the table is blank like there is no connection to a database. I am assuming the problem has to do with using Microsoft Jet 4.0 in the program and not having it installed on the computer I am running the program on. Is there any way I can remedy this? Does the Package and Deployment Wizard include the Jet 4.0 files in the setup if they are required? Any help would be appreciated very much. Thanks alot.

Yes, you will need to use the PDW to distribut the application.

Good Luck

The PDW will include all files that you need except your database. That you will have to add to the package manually. Thanks and Good Luck!
