Client is a Domino house. Use Domino/Notes for email, web server, etc.

Client wants P2003 Server. Reasons cited are:
-they assume it's the industry standard
-they want to share project info with partners and clients (in what way I'm not sure)
-they want to be able to have non-CAL users be able to view P2003 info from browser (no updating)

What flags or concerns are popping up in your mind from what I've said above?

Will their desires be met? (What exactly is shareable in P2003?)

How will P2003 Server butt heads with the existing Domino infrastructure?

Thanks....

Judging by the questions you're asking, their first issue is coming to someone with as little knowledge as you have.

Strongly urge them to hire a competant P2003 Server consulting organization. The nice thing about P2003 is that is solves a variety of *enterprise wide* issues well. The "un-nice" thing is that if this isn't an enterprise rollout or of the client doesn't have the enterprise-wide issues that P2003 solves then the money, time, effort, etc. are completely (and I mean _completely_) wasted.

Well thank you for pointing out my lack of knowledge. That was nice. That is the reason I submitted the post. Asswipe.

Can you suggest a P2003 consultant?

BTW, it's spelled "competent".

You refer to me in a derogatory manner and then ask me for further advice.

And, in asking for further advice, you choose to keep your location unknown. Depending on your continent, country, and state the suggestion and/or recommendation will -- quite obviously -- vary. Try Google Groups ("microsoft project server" - no quotes) and also consider looking at the ads.
