Hi All...
I know I have to take this route and I am sure it's going to be time well spent learning linux so I'm getting the ISO's now and will setup Red Hat 9.0 shortly...
Quick question for u though...
- I need to setup some type of Mail server to recieve mail from a Exchange 5.51 server and hold it on the Local LAN and then configure Microsoft Outlook to retrieve the mail from the Linux Server instead of the current Exchange Server over the WAN.
Is Sendmail going to be one of my better solutions? or would some other package be best suited to accomplish this?
The reason I think to take this route is we did use a Linux Server setup by someone other than myself and he used Sendmail and it worked great but the Linux Server got a virus and I didn't get hands on enough while he was there so we shut it off and now I want to re-setup a similar server and be able to maintain it and keep it secure.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vince
