Newbie question on defrag

Actually, more cautious than new. Any issues with running defrag on 2000 servers running Exchange 2000?

Hi Mark, no issues however I have found the defrag is less effective if the info store is running on the same drive you want to defrag. If you can stop the Info Store service you get a better defrag.

I will often do an offline defrag of the Exchange database before I do a defrag of the drive.

You can do the Exchange defrag with eseutil found in the ExchSrvr\Bin directory.
