I am planning on my first VMWare installation on a 64bit load of Windows 2003 server. My question is can I do a 32bit load of the 2003 OS on one of it's virtual machines?

I do plan to put this into production once I determine everything's ok with it.

Thanks.

Yes you can run 32bit guest OSs under a 64bit host OS. I do it all the time under ESX.

Any issue with just plain free VMWare server? I do plan to put this into production, but doubt I have more than two virtual machines running and it's not a critical application.

Once I get my feet wet enough, I'll budget for ESX next year.

Thanks.

It shouldn't be a problem there either.
