Newbie Question - Force Macro To Run On Opening Workbook

Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question but I'm a newbie to VBA in Excel and need some assistance.

I have created a macro to check the contents of a few cells which, depending on the result, populates other cells. What I now want to do is for this macro to automatically run as soon as the workbook is opened.

Is this possible and, if so, how?
