Newbie Question - Crystal Viewer

Folks,

If anyone can please help me out I would appreciate it.

I'm having trouble viewing a crystal report on my machine without the software? I have the software at home but I would like to send the report to work and view but my existing machine does not have crystal installed. Is there a viewer download so I can see the report? If so, where can I download or does it come on CD-ROM?

Also, at home I would like view the report in the viewer (kinda like preview)...each time I click on the report it opens in design mode. I'm using crystal 8.0.

You don't need Crystal to view a report. All you have to do is Export the report in RTF format or something similar and open it up with MS Word.

It works for me using CR7 and I don't think that CR8 is all that different for exporting.

You could also compile the report, and distribute that to your home pc. Malcolm Wynden
