Newbie Question -- Backing up SERVER

Hello,

I'm going to purchase NetBackup to backup my laptops when they come into the office.

My question is: I have a single server that holds a shared drive, and does my tape backup. Can NetBackup backup my SERVER as well?

All my research talks about NetBackup doing remote, client backups, but I haven't been able to figure out whether I can have NetBackup backup my NT server (and the shared drives). Or do I need BackupExec to do the server?

So can I use NetBackup to do the local server drives?
