I wrote my first pass-through query and it has several nested select statements. When I run the query, a window pops up asking me to pick the data source and I have to choose the appropriate ODBC connection. This box pops up 4 times in processing my query (I'm assuming due to the nested select statements). Is there a way to tell the query to always use the same connection?

Please be gentle; I know how to write Access queries and that's about it. Oh. . .and I have written one function so far. :)

In the SQL pane show the properties sheet and put the connection string.

Hope This Helps, PH.

PHV,

Nice new one for me, (keep forgetting that damned SQL properties sheet) - worth a star from me, even if it isn't for the questioner.
