OK...I got NB 3.4.1 on Solaris 7 server with a Sun L11000 tape robot. The robot has a load port with 12 slots in it for DLTs. I just got on the project, and I notice that in the general backup pool, all 75 of the tapes are full. I called support to find out if there is a "proper" way to go about this. However, support only proved to me that they know how to read and forward documents (Sun support for Veritas), but have no idea or experience with the software.

So I went off the document and did ten tapes one at a time: I would do a bpexpdate -ev <media id> -d 0, then through the GUI I would highlight the same media and delete. This just doesn't seem safe to me.

I guess my main questions are, what is the "real" way to do this? Is there any way I can do more than one tape at a time? Thanks in avance for any help.
