Ok.. .here's a laugh for some of you I'm sure, but I *just* started on Access a few days ago and am having probloms not only printing a report with pics, but even understanding some of the othe help given - terms and such. I have taken a couple online tutorials, and it seems like the proccess would be simple once the variables are understood.
I have a table called Products with a feild in it called [Pictures] which for now I have embedded the pics as an OLE Object. I have a report called 'products_withpics2' and on it is a Bound Object called 'ShowPic' with the Control Source being the feild [Picture].
So far I have come up with a code which doesnt work which I placed into the OnPrint event '=[ShowPicture]=Products!Picture'
...but that doesnt work. I am totally lost, and I am getting urgent for the pics to be on the report for an XML web-export for the website I am designing.
(I know I know.. .but when I was hired this wasnt expected of me)

Best to you all, and many thanx in apprehension;

If you are storing the pictures/images in a field in Access then you should not need any code. The recommended method is to store the path and file name of the image in your table. You would then use code to set the Picture property of an image control to the full path and file name.

Storing images in Access tables causes horrible file bloat.

Thank you for your responce, dhookom!! :-D

hmm.. .odd then.
When I do a report or form view all I can see of my OLE object is an icon of a picture file. At this point I'm not too worried about file size, as I am in a real pinch to get this report published online.
I have read that you need to use the OnPrint function when making a report with pics, but it hasnt worked for me yet.

Thanx..

Read my first sentence again. For a report, just drag the image field into your report. You may need to set the Display Type property to Content.
I'm not sure how this will display "on-line".
