I´m responsible for writing a manual called How to install IIS. The security is important. It´s supposed to be installed on NT Server 4.

I can´t find any good information about certain (most in fact.) programs included in Option Pack.

what does Transaction Manager, frontpage 98 extensions, message que, script debugger, Scripting host and Visual interdev really do?
Can anyone give any good description and/or concrete examples?

The server/s will also host some kind of database (ms sql 6,5&7, Oracle, Progress and more. Anything I should think of when installing IIS? /Sören

If you are looking for reference material, I would get a book called NT Admin's Bible by IDG Books. It's huge, details every single property sheet with NT, from how to install to everything that comes with the option pack.

Visual Interdev is a whole new can o' beans. It's closely tied into Visual Studio and most of MS's other dev apps.
