Since you are having your website hosted by a hosting service, the first thing you need to learn is how to upload your pages from your computer to your webspace. This is usually done using an FTP client unless your hosting service provides a way to do this with a web interface. Some even provide programs that help you build your site. You will also want to learn a little bit about HTML. There are a lot of sites out there where you can learn about it, is just one. If you want to be able to have interactive pages, you should learn how to install and use CGI scripts. A good source for cgi scripts is where almost every script comes with step by step instructions on how to install and use it. If you just want to learn linux in general, try or or even right here.
