Could some one point me to a good basic source of information about MYSQL?
I particularly need something about the syntax differences (if any) between the SQL language used by MySQL and that used by SQL Server 7.
Additionally, will MySQL run on a SCO Unix platform?
I really need to do some basic research before I can frame some sensible questions.
I have worked a bit with SCO Unix and Linux, but it has been some time, so the more basic this is the better for me.
Thanks

MySQL is available in binary form for the platforms listed here:
I've never seen a list of the differences between the SQL implemented on SQL Server and the SQL implemented on MySQL. But this page will tell you the differences between MySQL and ANSI SQL-92:

You have been a big help.
I found several basic books last night on MySQL and have looked at the website.
I was suprised that MYSQL is available for windows and what passes for my brain has started working.
I will apoligize to this forum in advance for my future "stupid sounding" questions. I often do not express myself well, but I will study on this a bit and see what develops.
