[NEWBIE]: installation of gcc under Solaris 9

Hi all!
I'm a newbie about solaris and gcc, and I've a problem about install gcc under a Sun Solaris.
My machine is a Sun Fire V240, and I've been downloadwd from the site this file:
gcc-3.2-sol9-sparc-local.gz
Now, how could I make the installation of this ?

There is almost certainly a README inside the .gz file.

In any event, your best source of information is going to be on the site where you got this package from in the first place.

And/or talk to your local system administrator.

Tnx for you're post ... hemmm I'm the admin of this machine. My problem is that I'm newbie of Sun sys so I've many difficults to understand/makin' some things ... !
In the site there are no tips about install this particular gz. I'll lookin'for a redame or similar file ... (now I'm at home).
By the way the problem for me persist ... ! :-/

gunzip the .gz file and install it like any other solarix package.
