Newbie in .Net

Hi buddies,
I am a newbie in .Net and want to start career in the same. I want to know from where I should start to learn the basics.
Currently I work in PowerBuilder, so would it be helpful for me to acquire the knowledge of the .Net smoothly?

Try searching this forum. There have been lots of threads on good books and good websites that you can start with. We would only be repeating them again by listing them.

I assume that by .NET you mean ASP.NET. From the following link you can download some videos either in C# or VB (.NET).
