I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm trying to create a table so that when you enter data, its a pull down menu so you just select when you want instead of typing it. For example, the Field is Movie Genre, and then you can select Science Fiction, Action, Comedy, Romance, Horror, etc...

me again, i wish there was an edit button, but maybe i should rephrase myself.

I'm trying to create a table so that when you enter data, its a pull down menu so you just select when you want instead of typing it. For example, the Fields are Movie, Actor and Movie Genre and for Movie Genre, you can then select Science Fiction, Action, Comedy, Romance, Horror, etc... which i typed in another table.

you cant do it directly in the table, but you can create a combo box on a form with the data/control source set to the table/field of your choice

or
if your dead set on having a table view. create the form and in the format tab set the default view as datasheet. this will keep the fields as dropdown lists but will appear as a table.
