Hello all hope you had a great week. I am needing assistance with Dreamweaver populating an Access database. Please know that I have read thru the MX 2004 Bible, I have looked thru this forum and done many searches on Google and still can not figure this out.

I would like to create a form that will allow me to have a couple of pulled down menus that are getting there info from a database. I think I have that correct at this time my problem is that I would also like to have a couple of text boxes i.e.: Name and Suggestions boxes that will populate a tables in an Access database. Has anyone seen any tutorials on line or would be willing to share there DW Jedi skills with me?

I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004, MS Access, IIS, and the page is .asp

Thank for you time.

Hi Ralph

Have got the connection to the db sorted? If so you will need to create a recordset. Then just select the menu on the page and in the properties panel just click on the dynamic option then you will see a popup window allowing you to select the recordset and insert the fields as the labels & values.

Now all you need to do is click on the plus in the server behaviours panel and select insert record. you will be able to say which form element is inserted into which field in your database.
BTW if you put dynamic into the Index of the help pages all this is there
