NORTEL OPTION 11C - Terminal

Please help me make a second line ring on a a set. Can someone walk me though this please. Currently we use all DID's and need to make another employees line ring on this phone (as well as their own). FOr example

Phone (A) has # 555-8120 (already set up and fine)
Phone (B) has # 555-8121 (but need 8120 ringing as second line).

How do I make phone "B" do this?

Thanks so much!

PS: I also noticed these lines associated with 3xxx numbers, for example 8120 ->3120 etc

Hi,

You have 2 options:

- SCR (Single Call Ringing)
- MCR (Multi Call Ringing)

If set A has a KEY 0 SCR xxxx then you can add a KEY X SCR xxxx on set B.

The only problem is that callers will get a busy signal when they call the number and one of the phones is making/receiving a call on that number.

With the second option (MCR) the callers can call the number as many times as you have MCR's

If you want to change from SCR to MCR or from MCR to SCR you must NUL(L) the keys before you can make them MCR or SCR...

Hope this is a bit clear...

Marc D.

PS: I do not know on what type of phone you are trying to do this but the M2006/M3901/M3902 can have only 1 line
